Well, here you go: I have learnt something. The hover works in Internet Explorer but not in Mozilla. I was using the alt tag in html. I have changed that to the title tag: and bob's yer uncle.
That was my april fools post, but four people took it seriously and I felt bad so I took it down. I was supposed to have landed a job working the macdonald's counter.
Love the main shot. One of my alternates was a bus stop, glad I decided not to use it. Really like the triangle of sail or tent or whatever it is, as well.
A bob shot! Your photo has the same perspective a legend in the CDP community, Barcelona Bob, was known for. I remember a theme day December 2006 in honor of the bob shot.
I love them all, but if I had to pick a favorite I think it would be "Please Stand Behind the Yellow Line." I'm not sure why. Maybe because we don't have that here.
Your 'hover-over' isn't working as I write this comment which might already be irrelevant by the time I publish.
ReplyDeletePS Enjoyed your ruins and Shelley posts.
Thanks for that heads-up, Z. I have tweaked.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the ruins. I certainly enjoyed preparing them.
I still couldn't get the hover to work but I love the shots even without explication. So many different voices yellow has.
ReplyDeleteA lovely mix of yellow here, Julie. Those shoes look brand new. The hover doesn't work but really it doesn't matter.

ReplyDeleteI don't even know what a hover over is so I don't know if it's working or not!
ReplyDeleteLove all your yellow. My, aren't we the CDPB Overachiever today! HA

Built for lots of comfort those shoes! Like the collage very much as well.
ReplyDeleteThe collage of yellow is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy! And the hover over thing is great. (The kids' playground one doesn't seem to fit)

ReplyDeleteOn this yellow theme day, your post gives new meaning to the phrase: If the shoe fits...
ReplyDeleteNice shot!

ReplyDeleteThumbs up on the hovering since I'm IE positive. A fine collection of yellows around town, Julie. Like the shoes!
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are such a wonderful whimsical shot ... you really did go on a yellow scavenger hunt, quite a collection.
