You have a wonderful way of seeing things! I haven't visited for a while, but I've enjoyed catching up on your poetic words and photos.
ReplyDeleteIncredible. I love the little photos below too.
ReplyDeleteI can hear the music from these photos Julie.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy visiting your blog! It puts me in such a good mood.
ReplyDeleteI started listening to Leonard Cohen years and years ago. I still think he is greatly under appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI know so many of his songs by heart.
ReplyDeleteJulie, I've tagged you. http://altadenahiker.blogspot.com/2009/05/wee-bit-o-blogger-challenge.html
I'd be so curious to read your take.
This is a great post with beautiful images!
ReplyDeleteYour musicians' portraits are very very impressive - what lens do you use? Or are you onstage? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI have heard "Hallelujah" first time in my life at a John Cale concert some years ago - very impressive too, :-).
These were taken with a 55-250mm lens. I was with the press journalists leaning over the stage.
ReplyDeleteThe first two small images (guitar and head) were cropped from the same larger image. The foot was a separate image as was the feature image.
Musicians are a challenge as they continually move! However, the emotion they convey is wonderful.
