I am glad that I don't have long hair. I like it short. I like to wash it at the kitchen sink and use a wash cloth and soap instead of shampoo. I never put it up with a comb. But I have been known to comb what I got.
Oh, yes, you could find her here, too, at a writers' festival or a lecture on light-paintings. Really nice shot. I love the texture of her hair and the effect of the combs, so solid, in the midst of her softness. As for your questions about Williams College, it's a small (about 2000 students) private, liberal arts school dating back to the late 18th century. I'm not certain that building was part of the original campus but it's certainly not a new building. And we often have blue skies in Vermont...I couldn't speak to weather in Western Massachuetts...hence the qualification.
What a great shot, an old-fashioned follow up to PJ's recent very modern hair series. I like altadenahiker's comment, Mum had long hair that could have rolled itself it had been the same style so long.
