Sydney skywatch

Light creeps over the ridge of the city and washes into the nooks and crannies of Blackwattle Bay: across the fleet anchored near the FishMarkets and over the early morning commuters humming across ANZAC Bridge.

... all the people of the lulled and dumbfound town are no longer sleeping ...

  1. Interesting shot, very industrial, I like it. The bottom one is too yellow for my taste.

  3. That water is just incredible. It's smooth, yet ripply. The light it reflects is terrific.

  4. The interesting thing about the light in these images is that I made absolutely no adjustments to the camera setting except for s/s and focal length. The WB was the same and the PhotoStyle was the same. What you see was how it appeared to my eyes as well.

  5. Ah, I enjoyed all of them actually, especially the first and the last. I love it how the sun gives out that warm glow at the beginning and end of the day...

  8. What an awesome bridge. Really like the fishing sloop in contrast to the fleet and the golden glow on the park. Great captures.

  9. I love the top the picture! It reminds me of the pedestrian bridge that goes over the Missouri River where I live. The suspensions add wonderful contrast to the sky and provide some great, abstract shots.

  10. Great first image and obviously love the boat. The last image has a strange color, but I think there is a reason behind it.

  11. Why lulled and dumbfounded? I have to admit that I'm a sucker for boats so I love that photo- I wonder if they were heading home or out to sea?

  15. Do the wires of the bridge sing when the wind blows?
