BC: This was taken on Monday, before the dust, which was Wednesday. However, by the afternoon of Thursday, I heard that the particles-in-the-air count was better than a normal Spring, the wind had been that strong. "They" are warning of more dust on Saturday - but this could just be the media hyperventilating. At its most extensive, the dust cloud was 400km wide and 2000km long.
It's interesting the way they painted the chimney to what, the roof line and then stopped. Which is probably a good thing; a pale green chimney just wouldn't do it.
Do you know why there are three of those whatchamacallits on top of the chimney and why not just one?
How the heck is Santa going to get down those skinny things?

I have never seen such a chimney, but guess I would not in my country. Very interesting and great photo.
