Hands

These two blokes were packing and weighing apples at Salamanca Markets. They looked a bit like Red Delicious apples.

    I particularly love the face of the man in the second, smaller photo. It's worth enlarging and studying for those who come after me.

    I love those hands, the are the hands of men who work. But also, they are a particularly nice composition.

    Have just caught up with all your Tasmania posts, Julie. You have showed it so well, so sensitively. I have both happy and sad memories of my three years in Tassie,including a bush fire that nearly defeated us. Love your hands today but have so enjoyed all the photographs of this beautiful island.
