Reading your comments about our week spent carving pumpkins made me want to write. As some of us grow older, and remember back to much simpler Halloweens 50+ years ago, it is almost not believable what young American moms and dads are doing to celebrate. It is weeks long now. The bright lights, cemetery headstones, witches on doorsteps, bales of hay, goblins in trees, etc., etc. It's all beginning to make this one evening of kids "trick or treating" into a major holiday closer to month-long Christmas celebrations.
What this nice pic needs is a huge carved American pumpkin, with lights, sitting on the bench. LOL. :)
Great shot. Love the shoes. Glad to see you are still getting out and about. Sculpture by the Sea is on again soon, do you think you'd be up to it? I'm thinking of taking a day off this time and going in the week.
Oh wow! I love this photo! Stunning.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good photo. The black clothing of the person is excellent. I love her boots.

It's all in the details. This is a brilliant composition, Julie.

ReplyDeleteUnusual benches and shoes, don't know the flowers, quite sure about the lemon. Nice catch an a puzzling composition.
ReplyDeleteThose striding shoes say sassy and the lemon left behind is a great touch. I wish I had benches like that at my house, they're fabulous.
