Oozing enthusiasm between spring sunshowers; crooning along with the soft indie rock wafting up the slope from main stage; Mates - crinkled in their ageing skin and with a harmonic off-centre world view.
How nice to see human beings enjoying themselves instead of the war pictures in the papers. (this is probably not a good thing to say on Remembrance Day)
Love 'crinkled in their aging skin' and 'off-centre world view', Julie. These are howling, romping, crooning good shots.
ReplyDeleteNice words and great pictures! I don't see much ageing here, except maybe for the guy with the hat...
ReplyDeleteExcellent photos and insight! Such polar opposite of what's happening here, seasonally speaking that is !
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I like photographing people on the street. It's pretty hard to get shots that are any good.
ReplyDeleteGreat people shots! Especially the first one, "Oozing enthusiasm", yes it is!

You certainly do have a way with words Julie! Excellent shots.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, but really fantastic poem!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you caught the guy in the top shot in a moment of joyful crooning.
ReplyDeleteHow 'at peace with himself' he must be.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful Wednesday for you.
Great words with excellent photos. Superb Julie !
ReplyDeleteGreat poetry, Julie! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love the howling guy in the first shot.
ReplyDeleteThe white-haired fellow may be dressed like an ageing hippy, but he certainly has modern equipment!
