| Holograms displayed on the facade of the NSW Conservatorium of Music |
| Carol of the Birds (Verse 1 of 3) Out on the plains the brolgas are dancing, Lifting their feet like war horses prancing, Up to the sun the woodlarks go winging, Faint in the dawn light echoes they're singing, Orana! Orana! Orana to Christmas Day. |
How clever to use Holograms and leave the building alone. I love how the texture of the building changes with each hologram. Both images are lovely, but the first one reminds me of a castle one would find in a fairy tale.
ReplyDeleteThose Holograms are awesome! Are you sure that's not Windsor Castle??
ReplyDeleteWow, the first photo had me looking back two or three times!
ReplyDeleteThat's incredible! What a creative way to celebrate a building and make it fresh every day.
ReplyDeleteI came in to do some moderating, glancing down, I then noticed the first few lines..this is so neat! Charming and fresh!
ReplyDeleteI love the holograms, they are awesome both awesome images. It is a neat way to decorate.
ReplyDeleteI did think the first one was painted, which lead me to ponder what the painter/designer had ingested! That's a pretty neat effect though - would look great on buildings here like the Tower of London.
ReplyDeleteI like the second one .. the first one doesn't do anything for me .... either way great shots. I tried doing them a few years ago and got nothing but blurs ... I guess I really needed a tripod.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea.Great pictures
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing, Julie. You've done an excellent job of capturing and sharing them with those of us who can't see the holograms in person.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful photos, Julie! So colorful in the first picture, and the second is out of this world!
ReplyDeletegoing to be interesting to compare your shots with mine. I especially want to see how you captured the Town Hall & St James (which I didn't get at all).
ReplyDeleteI love how the building looks in each scene. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteLooking at your photography felt like entering a fairy-tale tonight. Thank you.
ReplyDeletePlease have a nice start into the new week.
That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteNow there is an environmentally friendly way to light up a building. I assume the projection goes through a number of changes before repeating. A terrific idea. We had the grand kids over today to help decorate and they put some lights on the shrubery in front of the house. I will have to take some pictures.
ReplyDeleteThese turned out fantastic Julie. I've taken a few pix around Macquarie Street but I don't think they'll look anywhere near as good as these.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
I'm all for utilising buildings in this way. Looks great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my place!
It seems to be the in thing now but i like it. Great photography too.
ReplyDeleteClever way to paint a castle!
ReplyDeleteSomething is sort of unnerving about those holigrams - fist they look real (especially the ivy) but then.. wait, no...
ReplyDeleteThree Rivers Daily Photo
Now, you give me an idea! Being in the west and not watching tv and reading news this is what i have missed!
ReplyDeleteHolograms displayed - so no paint, MB
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and great photos!
