What a difference a few hours make! From overcast skies with distant rain to blue skies with fluffy clouds. I've just spent an enjoyable interlude catching up with your photos. They make me want to hop on a plane and fly to Australia. I especially enjoyed the shots of the Waverley Cemetery. The history, the hillside, the views...lovely.
The ship on the horizon, the clouds, the beach--all so dramatic and beautiful. But the shot of Bondi gives me a bit of the blues--I can almost see the house of my daughter! So near yet so far.
Oh! You have such amazing blues in the second photo, sky and water, redblue to greenblue! The early am beach with the rain just offshore is perfect, j'adore also! Three Rivers Daily Photo
Julie, Julie ... how dare you show blue skies when I am bemoaning that this is yet another day in the clouds. I'm fed up, it's beginning to feel like winter around here, we even lit a fire last night to get warm.
But apart from that there is a richness of colour in the photos that I like a lot ... perhaps it's the time of day.
The top photo is haunting. Early morning with the sun peeking over the horizon, silhouetting the ship, the lone figure on the beach... What’s going through his mind at 5.50 a.m. that morning just after Christmas?
Great photos again Julie,Ilove your blog,I have been taking a peek every now and then for a while now and you always have something fantastic to see or read. I love your quirky descriptions! I will be visiting often. Also thanks for the comments on my Sky watch post today x sharon
Looks a lot like Florida. If it's raining here, just wait a little while and it will turn out to be a beautiful day. Gorgeous blue skies in the second shot.
Wow, what a dramatic change in less than two hours. How much action and force on this gorgeous sky. It's like "you're watching a painting coming to life shifting and shaping .......it all goes by." Thanks Julie for sharing these beauties.
Truly, truly beautiful pictures. They are so bight and vivid. Every detail so easy to see. You are very good at capturing true beauty of nature. I am honored you had time to drop by my place. Thank you.
just as beautiful as ever...I put this on my computer wallpaper (hope that's ok)...can't wait to show the kids....I'm always talking about Oz - they want to move there.
