Sitting in the Communications Centre at Maree in the middle of nowhere killing time to see if the road to William Creek dries out enough to get through. There's so much water out here and we got 10 ml of rain last night. If it doesn't dry out we won't be going much further. So far so good, very interesting. No birdies (surprisingly) except corellas but lots of abandoned buildings, industrial detrius and rust. Lovely stuff. Had the tripod out at dawn and dusk yesterday with some, I hope, good results.
