Weekend Reflections - Hastings River

We sat in quiet harmony, supping our steaming coffee, munching on a shared apple-danish and reading the weekend paper. The weather crept steathily up the delta from the ocean, as the sky painted the river with dread.

  5. Beautiful. For a moment I thought I was looking at Peter's blog.

Haven't really started with the photos. Will take time. Delete, number, name then process and/or fix the ones I want to put on line. Will start using them on Meanderings but the travel blog/album will take a lot longer. Hope you like corrugated iron and rust.

  7. I wonder how much time elapsed between the first and second shot. The transformation in cloud mood is remarkable but I don't know how much of that is owing to your spare perfect text.

  21. Quite powerful images, love the tree silhouettes reflecting in the water. It all looks so peaceful even though the sky wants to tell a different story.
