    I agree. One can imagine a quiet comfortable conversation,taking in the day around them. Friends or partners the image of a history.

    I can imagine the dialogue.

    "The grandkids do not write or call as often as I would like."

    "They are busy with their family and friends. And kids today do not write. I think we should learn how to use a computer so we can follow them on Facebook."

    Reading the other comments made me wonder: is this a picture of two women or two men, or one man and one woman? From the back, it is almost impossible to tell: I think the person on the right is a woman, because men's coats don't generally have decorative knobs on the collar and because of the earring. But the other person is more enigmatic. I guess I must admit defeat. This is a wonderful picture of two FRIENDS sharing a bench in the sun and enjoying each others company!
