The thunder-storm was building up to the west of her, the temperature about 23C, and my guess is the air was moist and very heavy, maybe 90% humidity. It was early afternoon and Centennial Park was crowded with teenagers from nearby Sydney Girls' High who take cycling for sports afternoon.

I thought a bicycle would be the perfect thing for me, when we bought our little house in a small town, but it turned out the old saying "you never forget how, it's like riding a bicycle" isn't completely accurate. I know how, but my sense of balance is so bad I couldn't ride.
ReplyDeleteI had to look up "pelaton" which seems to be spelled "peloton" and means the large main group of riders in a bicycle race. Learn something new every day, but I didn't expect to learn it before breakfast. Guess I'd better eat first in case I have to learn anything else today. Thanks, Julie.

She looks a bit 'overheated'. Humidity is long gone around here til maybe May.
