Gurner Lane, Paddington

Gurner Lane is off Glenmore, just down from Five Ways. This was hanging over a fence into the lane. The sky is full of a most angry storm.

  3. I don't know why but I can't shake off the idea that blue flowers aren't natural and I'm always taken aback when I see them. What a startling and impressive tree.

Thank you for following Pictures Just Pictures.

I’ve now used all the allotted space for photos there and have started a new blog so I can carry on. It’s called

I’ve given it a different look but its purpose is unchanged - a photo a day.

  4. Love the pics, Jacarandas are so beautiful, not just the colours (they do vary in depth of colour) but I think the shape is pretty special.
Have you ever seen a white one ? That would be stunning !
Usually around here the flowers are pretty thick at the end of October, but this year they are only half way to being covered, even now...strange, maybe the cooler weather of late.

  6. A very full headed jacaranda, can't really see the storm though. I sure pelted down here yesterday.
