BD - When one looks at the images 'within' her, a local can identify spots where she has been photographed, eg Great Hall @ University of Sydney. But then she had a 'family'. I need to find where the other 'members' of this family are now resting.
This is new to me. Must keep my eye out for her. Did see a guy in a wet suit in Martin Place.
Also - they are putting the domes on the gatehouse at the Barracks (part of the original design but never built I believe - or maybe they were removed). At the moment only the timber frame but should be worth keeping an eye on. Really looking forward to seeing them completed.
I knew about the domes being pack back on, but not the timeline. I am a member of HHT. I rate them highly as an organisation to help one know Sydney. Them and Maritime Museum, but I have lapsed with MM being their offerings are a bit repetitive.

Fantastic!
Fascinating to enlarge and study the family within her. Also wonderful contrast between wall and carboard babushka.

Very cool art it is.
I really like this sort of urban art. Thanks for sharing this Julie.

Very interesting. I have not seen anything like this before. I do like it.
Completely strange. Not dolls nested in dolls but rather layers of meanings.
I've never seen her ... so glad to have your eye showing me the Sydney I don't know.
how fascinating. And is there a reasn for Mme. Babushka apart from the photos of her all over town, that is?
I love the way it makes the wall much more interesting to look at. Have you seen others around?
Is it of the dolls which fit?
Nicki - I have not seen others as yet, but have my eyes pealed.
Bergson - yes it is of the dolls that fit. A variation upon it at least ...
Sounds like your on a mission Julie. PS I googled Ava Gardner and I think you are right.
Interesting street art Julie. Like that these are appearing about Sydney town
A very interesting and original concept, Russian ancestry?
