Zippity-doo-dah ...

Clear blue sky. Temperature about 18C. Middle of winter. Southern Hemisphere. Wind towards the chilly at 24 kts. His great coat wraps around his ageing kidneys. His coffee steams as he sucks it down.

Yep. Everything is satisfactual ...

Zippity doo dah, Zippity aye,
My oh my what a wonderful day.
Plenty of sunshine coming my way,
Zippity doo dah, zippity aye.

Mister blue bird's on my shoulder,
It's the truth, It's actual,
Everything is satisfactual!
Zippity doo dah, zippity aye,
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!

  4. The ships in the background makes it a picture close to poetry.

Please have a good new week ahead.

  5. Terrific shot. Regarding my shot of the church at Glebe. They cleaned the exterior and renovated the interior since it is no longer to be used as a restaurant and probably be used for a residence. I've added a link the real estate agent's photos. The site also has development approval for additional town houses. I haven't photographed the one in Woollahra yet.

  11. I'm back! Been wayfaring for a month -- escaping the winter chill. Got home yesterday and the weather seems nice but I do know it is only a temporary thing ... there is a lot of winter left to run.

Now to go back through all your posts while I was away.

  12. Thanks now I have that song in my head for the rest of the night. Nice sunny blue days but it was freezing on the bridge yesterday.

  14. I do like that top image, Julie. Diligently ignoring the fact that your winter is considerably more inviting than the current London summer..

  15. I think we certainly have much to be 'zippity doo dahing about here in Australia' Simple pleasures are often the best, a great view, good coffee..shame about the inevitable aging kidneys though!
