Burnished balaustrades

Now that I walk with a stick, I am much more appreciative of the simple, inconspicuous things in life.

  1. I don't have a stick but some sketchy knees. I too appreciate a good handrail. I'd not walk down the stairs without holding one. Love your POV here in both.

  4. I don't walk with a stick, but I am always very familiar with such things as balustrades and handrails! These are particular pleasing, especially as they are outside and shiny.

  5. I really like the top photo's textures and that glint of sunlight on the railing.

  7. Slowing down enables us to see more. A great perspective.

  8. It sure puts things into 'perspective' when you're not as able bodied as once upon a time Julie, I was in a balustrade situation just this afternoon.

  11. Thank you, Ali. This is my favourite style of work as I wander the streets. I do take general panned landscape shots, but know that I will not be able to think of a way to use them to tell a story.
