Redfern Park - Tai Chi



This woman is wonderful: she waves to me and beckons me over. She is very serious whilst exercising but happy and friendly otherwise. She even recognises me later in the supermarket. I live in a very culturally mixed area - socio-economically mixed would be more correct. Some people are very poor and live on the streets. Other people live in multi-million dollar terraces. For me - inhabiting the middle - it is a vibrant mix.

    When I lived and walked in the city I liked watching the people do Tai Chi in the park near central railway station and others in Darling Harbour. It seems such a good idea getting together for group exercise like that.
