Ah what a joy to be a student ... the freedom and intellectual challenge. I'd jump at the opportunity to do it again.
Great duo of shots; its like a clinic on depth of field.
What DoF did you use, I'm guessing 4 or 5 for the 1st but what about the 2nd.
