This is an eye catcher. The cat is in just the right position, peering over the edge.
I am out of sorts today. I do most of my blogging from my laptop which has developed a faulty power cord. That is where my recent photos have been downloaded. I will find a replacement today but would rather not get out as it is -6C today. Methinks I will locate one by telephone before I go out.
I thought it was real at first as well. Great sign and well captured. St Mary's was difficult to photograph, I thought I had blocked out the lights with the fountain but when I downloaded the shots the lights were there, although they aren't as distracting as I thought they would be. I might try and go in again with the other lens so I'm not mucking about with the tripod which was giving me all sorts of problems.
Great shot, I love it!!! And yeah, I know that the seasons Down Under are the opposite of the ones here in Canada :o) No jealousy whatsoever, in my opinion Christmas isn't quite Christmas without snow!
Great shot. At first I thought it was a real cat. Still nice sky shot. I don't agree with Karine. Christmas is Christmas where ever you live. I'm not religious, but I don't think it was snowing when Christ was born.
Lovely silhouette against the beautiful sky! Our vet has adopted a stray cat that stays in the office. Last week when I took our cats in for a checkup and shots, the office cat calmly came over to check on each, then returned to his spot on the counter.
très belle ombre de ce chat curieux.
ReplyDeletebeautiful shadows of this curious cat.
A great sign for a vet!! And perfect against such a lovely sky! Terrific shot!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Good effect! The same, I thought it was real.

In this location it seems unlikely that curiosity will kill that cat.
ReplyDeleteThe other comments spared me the real-cat doubt: a clever and original sign!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the signs that Z posts ... I don't think I've seen many like this in Oz ... well spotted.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute sign and a fabulous SkyWatch Julie. I really like this!

Cats are said to be poetry.

Great shot, I love it!!! And yeah, I know that the seasons Down Under are the opposite of the ones here in Canada :o) No jealousy whatsoever, in my opinion Christmas isn't quite Christmas without snow!

Lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot (maybe it is my bias toward cats that is influencing me:) ). Simple but conveys much - the essence of a good photograph.
ReplyDeleteJulie, what a great composition and angle! I love the title too! The white clouds so soft and the blue so bright!
ReplyDeleteCats only? There must be drama within.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun SkyWatch photo! The cat reminds me of my lady with the watering can in my post. I love the color of the sky and nice fluffy clouds, too.
ReplyDeleteHow fascinating. A vet just for cats? No dogs?
ReplyDeleteI think there could be a simple explanation for this. Frequently the houses in Paddington do not have a yard.
