  3. This is an eye catcher. The cat is in just the right position, peering over the edge.

I am out of sorts today. I do most of my blogging from my laptop which has developed a faulty power cord. That is where my recent photos have been downloaded. I will find a replacement today but would rather not get out as it is -6C today. Methinks I will locate one by telephone before I go out.

  4. Oh dear, I thought that was a real cat for a moment!

  5. I stared for a moment and wonder if it was a real cat lol.

    Lovely sky.

I'll be posting my Skywatch later... 3 hours to go.

    Happy skywatching and happy weekend.

  7. In this location it seems unlikely that curiosity will kill that cat.

  8. The other comments spared me the real-cat doubt: a clever and original sign!

  9. Reminds me of the signs that Z posts ... I don't think I've seen many like this in Oz ... well spotted.

  14. I thought it was real at first as well. Great sign and well captured. St Mary's was difficult to photograph, I thought I had blocked out the lights with the fountain but when I downloaded the shots the lights were there, although they aren't as distracting as I thought they would be. I might try and go in again with the other lens so I'm not mucking about with the tripod which was giving me all sorts of problems.

Thought as well that it might be real. A wonderful reason to look up. A Friday just as nice for you.

  17. Great shot, I love it!!! And yeah, I know that the seasons Down Under are the opposite of the ones here in Canada :o) No jealousy whatsoever, in my opinion Christmas isn't quite Christmas without snow!

  19. Great shot. At first I thought it was a real cat. Still nice sky shot.
I don't agree with Karine. Christmas is Christmas where ever you live. I'm not religious, but I don't think it was snowing when Christ was born.

  20. Great shot (maybe it is my bias toward cats that is influencing me:) ). Simple but conveys much - the essence of a good photograph.

  21. Julie, what a great composition and angle! I love the title too! The white clouds so soft and the blue so bright!

  22. Cats only? There must be drama within.

  23. Lovely silhouette against the beautiful sky! Our vet has adopted a stray cat that stays in the office. Last week when I took our cats in for a checkup and shots, the office cat calmly came over to check on each, then returned to his spot on the counter.

  40. How fascinating. A vet just for cats? No dogs?

  41. I think there could be a simple explanation for this. Frequently the houses in Paddington do not have a yard.
