ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and sang!!! How strange is seems that it is warm weather at Christmastime! I remember reading a childhood book about Christmastime where it was hot weather in December and I thought that was the strangest thing I had ever heard! Merry Christmas to you!

ReplyDeleteI am almost buried by a flurry of activity - trying to get our Christmas letter finished and mailed, choir practice for Christmas services, getting the house ready for my kids and grandkids who will come tommorrow for dinner, and something for this blog. What happened to my retirement? Oh well, Merry Christmas anyway.

ReplyDeleteI am planning to visit Chinese Garden too sometime after Christmas. I haven't been there yet so it is something to look forward to. I will take the kids with me so they can also enjoy the train ride and look around Darling Harbour.

A tree with crystal bling is quite bedazzling! Your ballad is lovely and underscores why I have become smitten with blogging..I have never given much thought previously to Christmas traditions in Australia...but I'm so happy to have discovered them here. thank you Julie! You have Drovers, we have Cowboys, similar...but not quite identical.

ReplyDeleteAs diamonds will burn into 'a nothing' at a temperature harmless to glass, it is the latter that I do prefer, as the former won't ever be able to provide such beautiful reflections.

I swore I was going to wait until you finished the series and then leave a lengthy comment. But I couldn't wait when I saw these photos. SO beautiful, Julie!! What I wouldn't give for some of those crystals. The stained glass is amazing.
