I so agree. If I've ever got to kill time in the city then the gardens are where I always head. I've often snapped away with my camera there .. interesting to see the shots you've selected.
You and so many others. Although it may not be reflected in these shots, I thought there were a lot of people about. Not just wandering through, like me, but with gear to make a day of it. Sort of overview shots these. I have lots of others. *grin*
The first picture has a strange shaggy sky. That would make a first rate Skywatch Friday picture, but doubtless you have many more. But I like the the rolling green lawns of the middle photos best. Greenswards they are sometimes called. They make a great place to walk, to kick a ball or throw a Frisbee, or best yet to lie down on.
These are wonderful shots. I agree...I would like to be lying down on the grass looking at that awesome sky just relaxing. Beautiful. Autumn in Arizona is my favorite time of the year also.
The skies were glorious in Queensland over the weekend also & I posted some photos of it on my blog.. if you would like to have a look. Your photos are beautiful!
Up here in Newcastle the weather's blissful too! I'm so glad you were able to enjoy it. And I agree with one of your other 'commenters'....that sky is wonderful.
The weather is great lately not too hot and one can walk in the gardens or work in the garden without turning as red as a beetroot. I like the little white clouds in the last shot ,which are lower than the others. They look like lost sheep. The skyline is good too with the bridge peeping over the top.
