These corners are all in the first valley or upon the first ridge east of Sydney town and were established between 1820 and 1850. Terrace houses entered a restoration phase in the 1960s and much of the area is under a preservation order. |

ReplyDeleteIt is a quaint place these days but I can remember what it was like before the renovations began. In fact there is a book called "My Place" for children which deals with the changing face of that area. I love the warm colours in the last shot.
