Fun, indeed. The entire festival, weather not withstanding, was a wave of intense pleasure and fun. And with the muffled city as a backdrop it was a moment of contemplation for me, which I treasured immensely.
Don't think you could have improved on it. As for the quote...not Silverstein. Rather one of those other children's book authors, who, rumor has it, lives in Brattleboro in the very shadow of Brattcat. (-:
