The difference 5 seconds makes. One moment, my palette is empty, the next there is an actor upon the stage. I could have shot his coming, rather than his going. But, the way I see it, going is, perhaps, the best way to shoot some men.

Great realization for this theme day!
ReplyDeleteDon't they say something in the theatre about timing being everything? His appearance and position transform the shot.
ReplyDeleteNow you see them, now you don't. Timing is everything...
ReplyDeleteAll your jacaranda photos were wonderful!
LOL Now, now, Julie. Not all men are that bad. ;-)

Interesting take on the theme.
ReplyDeleteJust love it Julie. I also love the irony of it being in Nimrod St. Does the theatre still operate?
ReplyDeleteMark Clarence Valley Today
Mark, yes the building is still there and still operating as a theatre (!!) The building is The Stables and the theatre company is now The Griffin. Not sure when the Nimrod bit the dust.
ReplyDeleteGreat sequence shots, Julie! I think he looks pretty fine but perhaps beauty is more than skin deep and fleeting as the passing seconds...
ReplyDeleteI love your take on the theme Julie. Here today, gone tomorrow, the story of my life! HA
