We've got these here! Actually, we had them on an old house of ours growing up and my father HATED them. He always had to power wash and scrub the stucco to get their little stained suction prints off!
I can see the resemblance to frog feet, specifically the green tree frog. But it also reminds me of having an ECG done with all those little electrodes attached with goo around my chest.
These are wonderful, especially the red ones. I guess I have never thought of the suction caps changing colour too. And look at that lovely camellia hedge too with its carpet of pink on the pavement below.
