Oh glorious glow and I'm so lost in the s-curve depth of this beautiful scene - I want to run toward the cows in the field. Beautiful shots - both of them wonderful colors and warmth!
Good composition in all of the pictures, I prefer the second one because the colours are better. In the first one the ligh is missing but I like the effect of the sun. Bye. Serge
A really great Skywatch post ... what amazing images - love the colours and textures and the crystal blue sky ..... I first image is just sooooo special .... love the fencing and the soft light ... You have a great day! Gena @ Thinking Aloud a photoblog South Africa
Now what was that about needing a lens transplant to do countryside? A beautiful rural scene ... afternoon light seems almost liquid and tangible on days like this.

Nice Australian Pictures i like your shots..its awesome.
That's a beautiful scene. It looks strangely familiar to me.
It does look idyllic. I'd love to have a picnic and a nap under that tree.
Very nice shots Julie, especially the first one. The light is incredible!
Great pictures Julie. LOve the scenes
oh, a lovely, summery day in sydney...and a terrible
ice storm in oklahoma!

That first shot is gorgeous. Love it.
Such a delightful scenes!
Great skies
Enjoy the weekend.
Peaceful and distracting all at once (could close one's eyes, but then one would miss the view).
now i'm homesick...there's nothing like the aussie landscape!
Fabulous capture of the light and fabulous countryside.
Great countryside shots
Beautifully bucolic. Very nicely done. Leaves me feeling warm inside!
Fantastic captures! Love the second one with the colors and shadows! Hope you have a great weekend!

A beautiful spot.
Beautiful, you can't beat that evening light.
I'm with Ann. It's all about the light. Fab.

Seems indeed as nature does write the best poetry.
A wonderful Friday for you.
It's amazing how much these photos look like Northern California. Lovely afternoon light in them.

Bye.

Lovely rolling countryside, very Australian. I specially like the first photo.
Now that's a familiar scene. :)
Love the light. Beautifully caught.

Beautiful photos, you have really managed to capture the essance of the countryside.

Such intense light in the second one! I love the composition and feel of the first one, with the source of light just off the shot.
I love the softness of the sun on the first photo. That's lovely.
I also did some Internet research and found out why they decided to put the fish weather vane on top of the courthouse.
The top photo is like a dreamy remembrance - so like the place I grew up in northern California, I can smell the hot air and dry grass.
These two images are amazing! These places should be used as a movie background.

Stunning. These are kissed by such a gorgeous light.
The light in both photos is fabulous, as the composition. They should be paintings.
Love the top photo...beautiful!!!
Serene views of nature's beauty! Nicely captured!
