... my post-FB view of the world ...
That is one crystal clear reflection of the old lady. Love the blue sky too.
My, old meets new in such an intersting way! Well done!
Perhaps 'she' would not be amused but 'we' are delighted. Excellent work, Julie.
Fantastic reflection shot Julie! The sky is gorgeous, and I love the old and new combined. And your post title cracked me up. Kathy
Killer shots! Beautiful subjects and wonderful colors.
Wonderful shots, brilliant sky!
Each window is like a wonderful frame that holds a part of the reflection's whole. Very nice! The colors of the building and the sky are amazing.
How beautiful Julie!
I love the reflection. Taking photos of refections is one of my favourite things!
The reflection is so clear! we can see each details of the old building in the modern one! Wonderful shots!
A great contrast of old and new - wonderfully captured!Mine’s here: Round The Bend.
This is teriffic, so clear!
Wow, those are beautiful reflection photo's. Great shots
It's like the old being protected by the new...wonderful captures!
Possibly the only saving grace of that glass monstrosity is that it has such a beauty nearby to drape itself in her reflection.
I have never noticed that reflection .... and what are doing with clear sky ... I soooo jealous.
I have the feeling the new building might have reminded her of the Crystal Palace and her Dear Albert!
Dear old Vicky probably wouldn't, no! Fabulous shots Julie, aren't cities great when they mix old and new in a good way?
Oh I don't know . . . I think if Dear Albert had expressed appreciation Victoria would have been quite accepting of it ;-)
Glorious, I love the old/new reflection shots, but the old always wins my heart.V
Great shot. Love the title of the post. Sydney - City and Suburbs
Beautiful, clear reflection. Can't place the modern building, must have a look next time I'm down that way.
Stunning colour and clarity. One more 'c' and it'd be a diamond. :)
Carat and cut ... mmm ... tough to work those two in ....
Perhaps not amused but certainly impressed. Fine photo.
How gorgeous! Happy weekend.
The old part is fantastic!
I really like that second one, Julie! So many beautiful colors !
Fabulous reflection here... Nice work Julie.
Excellent images Julie. The old building is majestic even (or especially) in reflection.
The bottom photo is by far the best compositionally...fabulous colors... but I have to say I love the reflection in both...what a fabulous building!!!
I like the old and the new shown side by side - fab shot.
She was the grand dame and so is that fabulous old building. Outstanding reflection image, Julie!
