Located on the northern side of King Street, near the corner with Clarence Street, this bubbler shows another view of The Grace Hotel which featured on this blog last Tuesday.
Great reflections. I can't get over how clean it is. One day will you tell me how to put two photos side by side. I have just changed over to the new editor and I can't seem to manipulate photos. Pretty please.
Thank you, friends. My interest was in the bubbler before I even noticed the reflection! I am working on a post about bubblers in the city - and there are so many of them and mostly in working order. This one was totally clean, no gum no wrappers, not even any leaves!
Who would have thought to look for a reflection in a bubbler. BTW in Qld they are called water fountains not bubblers ... thought you might like this bit of trivia.
Very clean and shiny for something out in the public. Nice reflections.
ReplyDeleteYou've transformed it into a work of art.
ReplyDeleteI love it. I love the moment of discovery when I see a great reflection like this. I also like it when I see pictures yours.
ReplyDeleteP.s. I'm glad that you returned and read Kathleen's comment about the old mill. I was going to tell you about it but you beat me to it. :)
A perfect post for Weekend Reflecions, Julie, but also an image that a Sontag flaneur might appreciate and capture.

Very clever entry for weekend reflections. I like the close up one the best - shows a lot of details. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWe've all done reflections in glass and water. But concave metal? Now, that's a fresh eye.
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections. I can't get over how clean it is.
