Thankfully the current tenant - a Spanish Tapas joint - has not felt the need to stencil over Wai Sing's sign. Shame that Wai Sing did not show the same sensitivities!
So ... what did Wai Sing stencil over? Can you read it?

Great challenge. Was it the Busy Bee Cafe? Also great title for this shot.
I like ghost signs, this one is great. It's fun trying to figure them out. I think Bratcatt is correct.
I too think brattcat is right, though it is fun to imagine other possibilities. It is like receiving a postcard with the bar code sticker on the bottom, concealing half the words.
Well spotted!
I'm seeing Busy Bee Cafe. A real-world palimpsest. I'm kind of torn, I like the passage of time the layering reveals.
Well Spotted shot !!Unseen Rajasthan
I agree It would have been better to let the old sign live on and be a busy bee forever. Enjoy your trip.
Great bit of local colour!
They could have incorporated the new sign with the old for historical sake. Nice shot.
Nice commentary - yes, Busy Bee cafe. Or perhaps Pusy Pee cafe? No, perhaps not... :)
