Aggies

The flowers that bloom in the spring, tra-la ...

This was down in Brown St, in Paddo, but they are bursting out all over. What with the Jacaranda, the Agapanthus and the Honeysuckle my suburb is a joy to behold. Why doesn't Bougainvillea come in a lovely shade of lilac?

But but but ... I know a wee laneway with bougainvillea tossing itself blousily over the garden wall, with a perspective down to a row of Jacks. Shall try to capture it ...

NOT my favourite flower! They're usually too showy for me. (I'm a begonia fan.) But you've captured the delicacy of the early stage beautifully.

Beautiful shots, Julie. We've a winter to go thru yet and it seems a very long time till my agapanthus bloom. I love the clarity of these shots - wonderful colour and so nice you've taken them as they emerge.

You convey the fleeting, precious aspect of all life in these.
