I'm glad those of us in the Northern Hemisphere have your excellent Spring photos to appreciate and warm us up! Love the purple against the brown stone.
I'm looking out my window right now at snow falling...or rather, rain that wants to be snow or vice versa...not quite cold enough for snow...and as I sit here, I yearn for the gentle warmth your pictures bring to mind...

It makes me yearn for the gentle season you are presently enjoying. These are beautiful, Julie. They actually make me a bit damp-eyed.
They're fabulous, Julie. What an incredible colour. I just love them. Too bad they wouldn't survive here. Sigh.

The Victoria Barracks ones are pretty impressive.
The Barracks look best. Nice and dense.
I love these photos! They are gorgeous!
Havea great time!

Definitely the Barracks.
I demand mass plantings of Jacaranda trees along all major roadways.
Just glorious. I can just about hear the buzz of the bees from here. :)
I'd go with the barracks, too; although, the filigree-like tree at St Andrews is a lovely sight as well bold density vs elegance?).
Snap! Jacarandas on mine today too. These ones look great with the old buildings as a background.
Well taken Julie, they do look great against sandstone!
A great selection of Jacaranda photos. I agree with Woody that they look good with the sandstone.
Wow they are pretty impressive. hard to beat.
I like them against sandstone but nothing beats a row of them for creating an impressive show.
I think you had a lot of fun finding all these jacaranda to show us. The best jacaranda display in Oakland is in one of our poorest neighborhoods.
What a fantastic colour. Great shots!
I enjoy the bloom of lilac every year.
