This is a really top coffee shop

This is Rushcutters Bay, on Sydney Harbour. I sat on the same park bench to take the first two shots. It is a gorgeous park, sunny and open, space to kick a ball, ride a bike, walk a dog.

The coffee shop is a joy. Firstly, it has good coffee. Secondly, it has good quality, good value snacks. It is great to sit and read a book (currently Ann Enright), play with a toddler, or people watch.

This third shot is also from around Rushcutters Bay. See the harbour bridge through the verandah? This was taken along Yarranabee Road, on the boundary between Rushcutters Bay and Darling Point.

It looks so warm and inviting. It's ~40F and raining here :-(

It is beautiful, Julie. It is -1C (30F) here, and cloudy. The ground is covered with snow and the roads with ice. Not much fun. LOL
Thanks for the ray of sunshine. I needed it. We're going to Hawaii in a week and I can hardly wait.

Looks very warm indeed. Very different from my photo promenade today.

I dont' think I've ever been there but it looks just perfect, sparkling harbour, shady trees, food and drink.

I have just zipped through all your posts that i missed while away. Sydney sure is a beautiful city and Rushcutters Bay is a picturesque spot. You are lucky to be close by and be able to sit there and enjoy.

I grew up in this area and it certainly is delightful.

I think the third pic is New Beach Road rather than Yarranabbe Road.

Yes, Victor, you are correct. I walked up and over from Ocean Avenue, along and down Yarranabee, past Yarranabee Park, and this is the first cottage, just before the yacht club. It is, indeed, on New Beach Road. Taa ...
