Glenmore Road is the spine that runs through the heart of Five Ways. Now they don't teach THAT in medschool! It accounts for two of the five ways.

Mostly FW is eateries: chicken, pizza, fish, waygu, pub, Thai, French, 4 cafes. Plus supermarket, two grog-shops, two hair-dressers, a chemist, dry-cleaners, newsagent, and two art galleries. And for some reason, a bridal shop.
It is thriving.

Very interesting, Julie.
I like the balcony on the hotel.

I have really enjoyed your 5-ways series this week as I haven't been there for at least 25 years.
The intersection really needs a tram running through the middle of it. Ah, it did.
It's unusual to see terrace houses painted in different colours :-).
Not up here! Although the palette of these few is smack in yer eye! But all shades of grey, all shades of olive, all shades of peach, all shades of ochre.
This is a row of shops though ... and they are out to stamp FW with an 'attitude', I suspect.
Bustling is the word that comes to mind when I see these pics of "Five Ways"
Love the splashes of Red!
"Adelaide and Beyond"
I shall try to remember to wander up there on either Saturday or Sunday morning when it is awash with people having brekkie.
Great series.
You are extremely fortunate to live where you do. I'd love to have all that nearby.
Why does the bridal shop sound like the odd one out.
Food food glorious food. Not the kind of place(s) where I live ... get your dinner by 7:30pm or starve.
