More boys out and about

Oh dear, International Womens' Day and here I am featuring boys - again! Well that is the way the cookie crumbles. Not sure that I agree with quotas to correct imbalances.

The climbing tree is a Fig down on the foreshore at Watson's Bay. The cricket pitch is on the main parade ground at Victoria Barracks. Both shots taken this past Sunday.

what a fabulous tree. it would have been heaven for me as a child to climb around in that. you've captured it well. and happy International Women's Day!

I used to climb a fig like that over 50 years ago. I went back to Mosman last year to look around my old neighbourhood and the tree is still there. It has to be well over 70 years old.

Glad you picked that up Peter ... however ... I chose the shot carefully .. .it was the lunch break in an adult's match ... and this young lad was being 'bowled' to by his mother.

Your first shot brings back so many fabulous memories of fearlessly scrambling to great heights in similar trees. Thx.

I don't agree with quotas but I do agree there is a particular joy climbing a tree for both boys and girls.
