Snap!

India Bhari was infusing the mall with his own form of soul balm, when I irritated him. I smiled broadly for his video, then went up, bowed and added $5 to his collection bowl.

Your writing pulled me in...I wonder, why was he irritated?...Maybe he didn't want you to do his portrait?...

But he got his revenge by making you a subject in a video!

Wonderful colours and clarity here, Julie. Amazing stuff he has there, too. Makes me wonder how he got the collection started, and put together.

You should have put out your hand for having your photo taken. Hey! I like his orange shirt. Orange week for me.

Yes, I can hear you 'roar' from here, DB!

The thing is with buskers, they are doing their hobby and expect listeners to pay them. When I take photos I am doing my hobby, and subjects expect me to pay them. Heads they win, tails I lose.

A connundrum really.

I love all the colour in these shots. And I also like that he caught you on camera as you caught him. :)

Anyone out on the street can expect to have his or her photo taken. I will never pay anyone that I photograph so I tend not to take that many photos of buskers. I wonder what he will do with his video.

Ha Ha you take me and I will take you. If he doesn't want to be photographed he should shave and wear a suit.
