Wasted on the young

Love is lovelier
The second time around
Just as wonderful
With both feet on the ground

It's that second time you hear
Your love song sung
Makes you think perhaps that love
Like youth, is wasted on the young

Love's more comfortable
The second time you fall
Like a friendly home
The second time you call

Who can say
What brought us to this miracle we've found
There are those who'd bet
Love comes but once and yet

I'm oh so glad we met
The second time around.

Love it.

Was in Sydney, waved in your general direction from the 17th floor of the hotel, hope you saw *snort*
Sorry about the rain we brought from Melb that cancelled the St Patrick's Day parade.

Absolutely love the top photo. The composition, the feeling, everything.

Hey these guys could be first time round and found new love in retirement.

Yes, indeed, they could. And that would be a form of 'second-time' ...

I don't know why holding hands always stirs me. More than any other human gesture. But it does.

First time is for sex, second for love third for friendship. If you are really lucky you get all three first go. If not, never give up!

As a philosophy, I like that.
