Theme Day - Under construction

When playing with a small child, there is a gossamer line between construction and destruction.

Love the over the shoulder view of this one with the bright-colored construction in the background. Oh, and I do concur with your comments regarding construction vs. destruction...

it-s a beginning

here many children have a brittany name

Yes, a beginning, Bergson.

And yes, the links between Wales and Brittany are strong and go back thousands of years. It somehow does not surprise me to find the name 'Nolwen'.

Terrific theme day post. It's good seeing so many different interpretations of the theme.

I see she's applied a bit of slobber for extra pliability - obviously possesses superior problem-solving skills.

Sometimes the point of construction is to get to the destruction... it can be just as fun!

True! There's no such thing as a finished product.

Lovely light over those smoothed out toddler-knuckles.

I agree with Virginia Julie, beautiful, soft gorgeous image. So much more appealing than bricks and steel! I can't believe a month has passed already since you helped me to get organized for my first theme day post.Thank you so much and I have to say looking at your photos first thing in the morning is really inspiring.
Best wishes
Grace

Delightful photo, Julie. When I see plump little baby-hands like that, I just want to kiss them. Children are only tiny for such a short time.
Wonderful to watch the learning process, though, isn't it? And to contribute to it is sheer pleasure.

The joys of grandparenting - helping a child to construct its world. Great idea and beautiful shot.

This reminds me the long happy moments spent bulding something with 'Lego' (and destroying it in a moment thereafter).

Lovely interpretation fo the them. Ma has a way of showcasing her favourites.

I notice it is the high tech stuff capturing her interest.

A beautiful image. Says it all. Perfection for theme day - for any day, come to that. I love the angle from which you've taken this shot.
