Fulcrum

He balanced there with his coffee and his fag. Was he listening to Rachmaninov or Lady Gaga through his headphones? Frequently, he flicked his phone out of his pocket, his thumbs dancing over the keys, as he exhaled his noxious fumes into the crisp, moist Sunday morning air. No one paid him much heed, save I.

Great shot! Love Saint Mary's Cathedral in the background Julie.

I can never understand how folk can just flick their thumbs over their mobile phone screen.

Looks a busy morning, I hope he put his butt in the bin. Good news about your daughter arriving home.

Hah! Had to laugh about the two meanings of 'butt' from this image! I did a double-take at first ... duh!!

Love this shot Julie, I know the guy is the subject, but there are so many other things going on here to attract the attention.

That's what we do these days. Time on our hands, look hopefully at our phone to see if an interesting message has arrived. If I don't find anything I think of something interesting to ask Google.
