Goosey goosey gander

Goosey goosey gander,
Whither shall I wander?
Upstairs and downstairs
And in my lady's chamber.
There I met an old man
Who wouldn't say his prayers,
So I took him by his left leg
And threw him down the stairs.

Quite a large flock of geese 'lives' adjacent to Busby's Pond in Centennial Park. Although they have a scarey reputation, they are exciting to walk amongst because of their noise and their antics.

I think this was quite enough excitement for me for one day. What a wonderful post. Perfectly timed image and text.

Fantastic photos, i especially like the first one because all the geese have their right feet off the ground at the same time as if marching to a drum beat :-).

Wonderful images... geese can be cantankerous though... I've been chased by a few through the years... some are better than a watch dog! Lol!

Wonderful. Love the shape of the wind in the middle one.

I nearly called this post 'goose-stepping', but demurred due to the connotations.

These shots remind me of my Mum. There were ducks and geese at the local park and she loved to take the grandchildren to feed them, perching the little ones on a convenient rock when the birds became too aggressive.
