  1. Wow, you've truly mastered the art of panning, I'm impressed.

Julie, the link from the CDP theme day portal is broken, we can't access your post. You might want to check what's wrong so more people can check out your work !

  2. Thanks for this Nathalie. I have logged a problem with Demosthenes. Being one of the first to post on any TD portal, often brings with it this issue for some reason. Thanks for alerting me to it.

  4. Very good. Your panning has really improved. I'm impressed. Completely forgot about Theme Day and I had a good action series to use. Got to get back to posting next weekend and get some LHI shots sorted.

Re Kirsten's blog, if I click on the blog title it blocks it as "sex". If I click on the post title I can get in. Maybe it associates French words with sex. Very strange.

  5. Hah! How very wierd. Think it tells us more about whoever instituted the block than about Kirsten's blog!

  6. Excellent! I find panning technique very challenging, so two thumbs up for this great photo.

I've been to CDP portal and I think something is wrong with your link but I can see the image. Good thing that I reviewed my reading lish via dashboard today.

  7. Hi Julie. Greetings from Augusta. I've posted a very similar photo for today's action theme. Well done, as usual.

  10. Super shot. I've never tried panning - now I'm inspired... apologies for lack of comments lately, Julie. PhotoMenton was exhausting but fabulous. Now back on track I hope.

Saw the message re the portal, I've not been able to reach your blog on Theme Days for a long time now. Hope Demosthenes can fix it for you.

  13. I like those mailbox and the whole image. The patches of bright colors are exalted by the grey background.

  14. You must have been really chuffed to get a shot as good as this. I've never tried panning.

  15. I was, Joan. I stood at the intersection for about 30 minutes trying to get eithe a biker or a motorcyclist. I could follow at the same pace, but kept on forgetting to refocus, before shooting.

I give myself a session every couple of months, to keep the technique up. Not easy ...
