Fingers of rust

Catalina Bay, on Lake Macquarie, is fingered with jetties and boat-ramps, and fringed with expensive homes, and holiday shacks.

Wonderful colors. Super photo, Julie.

Rust, weathered timber and water ripples ... all a joy.

What wonderful depth of colour you have captured here Julie. Rust is intriguing. It's quite amazing how it attacks hard metal and seems to drag it back down to its source. Man can forge metal but nature wins in the end.

LOve the rust, never thought I'd ever say that. Lake Maquarie is a fabulous place. I visit Wangi Wangi every year for a family reunion.

Fantastic photo. I love the way the photo developed from the top to the full shot of the slip rails.
