Legend in my own lunch-box

On the journey home from Manly last Sunday, I had a pathetic little competition in my own head to see how many icons I could cram into the one photograph. I count:
Sydney Harbour Bridge
Sydney Opera House
Fort Dennison
Sydney Tower
a Sydney ferry, and
the harbour itself.

Beautiful shot. We loved Sydney when we visited a few years ago. It would be a bonus to be able to visit again.

A great photo to get all the highlights in one view.

Cloudy: yes, blogging takes us on wonderful journeys, and shows us what is possible the world over. Then, with any sort of luck, we travel ourselves and see the real thing in person.

it may be a 'pathetic' competition to you, but the result is first rate.

Dosn't Australia Square count?

I don't know that I can see that building, Dianne. Actually, I am not sure that it DOES count.

And The Rocks & Bot Gardens. I like comps like this.

And a sailboat. Not iconic enough to make the list? But beautiful nevertheless.
Lovely photo, my friend.

Nothing like a challenge to get one going. What I like about this shot is it is full of icons without being "iconic" That wake of water is the extra touch that makes it zing.
