Each Friday, I leave home early to catch the 6:15 train from Central to Fassifern. This is what it looked like this morning at 5:45 as I waited for the 378 bus on Oxford Street (next to Victoria Barracks) to take me to Central.
Glenmore Rd transformed....beautiful! I'm a late night owl so will never see it..though when the next electricity bill arrives I may decide to change my diurnal habits. Fassifern? Sounds like Patrick White's fictional town Sarsaparilla:)

I love it when the sky is this colour.
The sky was gorgeous!
Yes, I agree it was gorgeous. But I was quite astounded with the amount of light the lens found. To me, except for the shops, it was quite dark.
Terrific blue in that morning sky. My goodness you do have an early start.
It must have been freezing. Love the moon you've captured.
You are a dedicated sister. Too early for me.
It is a routine that has become .. ummm ... routine.
It always surprises me how many people are out and about early in the morning.
A city is mostly so different at such an early hour, so quiet. Very nice photo.
Ugh daylight saving makes an early morning even earlier in terms of light. Love the shot.
Hah ! That one is *my* blue ;-) ... Wonderful night photo Julie !
Yes, it is indeed, Fabrizio. And such a gorgeous shade it is. No wonder your eye is attracted to it.
