From upstairs at the Pavilion

Bondi Beach captured from the balcony of the Pavilion. Facing south-east, first to the left, then centre, then to the right.

Now I know what I missed, Julie. We ran out of time on our Sydney trip to visit here. Lovely view.

What is upstairs in the pavilion. Do a post on the history of the pavilion.

Yes, m'am!

I had that in mind, actually. I did not realise that one could simply wander on in. Shall try to get down there tomorrow.

Kirsten, Alannah, and I went to a performance of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' in the upstairs theatre yesterday. I shall try to blog about that on Dolwendee in the next coupla days.

Beautiful blue sky. Pleased to say that some of them have finally made their way south to us.

What is that kiosk-like structure, with what appears to be solar panels on top?

That kiosk is the 'home' of the on-duty life-savers. They have little stations along the beach, too, that showed last week. A lot of their gear is kept beneath the kiosk.

Had no idea you could go upstairs either.

So blue the sea.
Oh, and you got a gull in mid flight!
