The Riley Street Gang c. 2012

The Riley Street Gang, legging it with the groceries, down Little Albion Street, away from Frog Hollow. Surry Hills, Sydney. The original Riley Street Gang was a bunch of not-very-nice-people who made a living 'on the game' of various sorts, c. 1930s.

It looks like a baby riding an elephant. Sydney is home to quite a number of good blogs. Yours might be the best. I always enjoy it.

It's city streets like this that don't appeal to me.

Bill - yes I can see the elephant now that you point it out. How wonderful!

Joan - this is just the streetscape I adore. I go in search of it, and immediately my eye starts to mentally measure it out.

This looks like a very good sort of gang, Julie. You can always find the beauty in any part of your city. I really admire than in you.
