Compost bonus

This is growing in my raised garden bed. i think it is a pumpkin, possibly even a Butternut Pumpkin. I can only figure that it came from my own kitchen, via my composting system.

Any idea as to veggie type?

Looks a lot like a marrow or courgette.

Very nice flowers of courgette I think.

Could it be a zucchuni?

Zucchini/Courgette seems to be what most people are plumping for, Joe.

Actually when I first met them they were called jap and have recently changed to Kent. I like them because they are soft to cut not like those rock hard queensland blues.

Yes, the QLD Blue threatens with "self-harm". I must do a taste test. I adore pumpkin ...

My mum makes stuffed zucchini flowers and later stuffed zucchini in the oven.
