Sitting in blissful neutral

He was sitting in the warmth of the day, facing the Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park (North). The glorious sandstone of St Mary's Cathedral was at his back. There were dozens of folk milling, as is invariably the case with this walkway through the park.

I would imagine that's a favourite spot for more than one person to sit at. The Cathedral is amazing!

benches server a purpose and often it is allow us to sit and enjoy the view ... interesting that I find the bench as interesting of a photo opportunity as the view.

He has the perfect seat, Diane. In front of him is the Archibald Fountain, and people mooching. Above him are the towering office blocks, and Sydney Tower. He has the windbreak at his back, and the bloody amplified guitarist is on the other side of the fountain!

Next time I am in there, I will sit where he is sitting and take some shots for you.

I look forward to the day when I can do more sitting in neutral. I used to think my in-laws were mad for doing that but now I understand ... all it takes is time to catch up.
