If you have an itch, scratch it!

A distinct case of the sublime and the ridiculous!

Dad was quite overwhelmed when I took him here last Saturday. You can see this massive city is heaving and screaming but it is muted. It is distanced. It is calm. It is still. One can think ...

It is always entrancing to experience the disorientation of viewing something familiar from a wierd angle.

For those of you not from our fair shores: Sydney clings to a magnificent harbour that is transversed by seven or eight bridges - plus a tunnel. Here are but two of them: the ANZAC Bridge (1995) in the foreground and the Sydney Harbour Bridge (1932) in the background.

I didn't know it was possible to get the two bridges into a photo like that.

Neither did I until Saturday. I am really enjoying the excursions that I take my father on each Saturday. I should: I design them.
